Aloys Metzler didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4 minutes into the match, KFC Hansa's goal looked a bit too open when Miromir Kazanowski came free, but Ole Per Köppen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Miromir Kazanowski put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ole Per Köppen. The supporters of KFC Hansa booed when Nieciece was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryszard Marchewka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ole Per Köppen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dragomir Breković in the 12th minute of play. Nieciece's Miromir Kazanowski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ole Per Köppen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nieciece were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after KFC Hansa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Miromir Kazanowski took the corner. After taking down the ball on Nieciece's corner Miromir Kazanowski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ole Per Köppen quite easily take care of the ball. In the 15th minute, Ryszard Marchewka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Nieciece's Miromir Kazanowski in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ole Per Köppen was left in no man's land by his defense there! 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by KFC Hansa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Miromir Kazanowski was slow to take the kick. During this time Nieciece's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Miromir Kazanowski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ole Per Köppen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Loy Schwerinski's late challenge caught a Nieciece's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Loy Schwerinski helped the player get up and apologised. KFC Hansa's Ole Per Köppen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miromir Kazanowski in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match Nieciece got a corner. KFC Hansa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Miromir Kazanowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miromir Kazanowski in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ole Per Köppen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rd minute, Dragomir Breković got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miromir Kazanowski took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ole Per Köppen. Ole Per Köppen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 48th minute Miromir Kazanowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ole Per Köppen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joost Schlüter was the one to do the kick off. Ole Per Köppen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miromir Kazanowski's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute, Miromir Kazanowski fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ole Per Köppen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dragomir Breković, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Miromir Kazanowski struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Ole Per Köppen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nieciece. Oliver Scholl was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 65 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, one of KFC Hansa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KFC Hansa. Ole Per Köppen had in the 66thth minute some difficulties stopping Miromir Kazanowski's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Ole Per Köppen came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Nieciece's Miromir Kazanowski. But to his dismay, Miromir Kazanowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. KFC Hansa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Miromir Kazanowski scored to the left of an out of position Ole Per Köppen, making the score, 0-6. Nieciece made a substitution. Michael Ronin replaced Dragomir Breković. Nieciece's Biagio Gerola was substituted for Grzegorz Brytka. KFC Hansa's Ole Per Köppen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Ronin in the 76th minute of play. A collision led to KFC Hansa getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Björn Münst hit a great ball. Michael Ronin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ole Per Köppen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Ronin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ole Per Köppen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Ronin in the 93rd minute of play. Ole Per Köppen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Ronin, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the match was over Nieciece could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KFC Hansa throughout the match.
