Cosme Paris didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Philippe-Arnaud Heremans went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 14 minutes into the game, Philippe-Arnaud Heremans was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Everett Hawks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Gagoneta the free kick. Cosme Paris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdi Mehmet Rakim in the 17th minute of the match. Ludo Vanden Bossche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manfredo Zanussi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Gagoneta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marco Peio in the 22nd minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of The Everett Hawks's goalie and right to Patricio Asur. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. The Everett Hawks's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The Everett Hawks's Ludo Vanden Bossche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfredo Zanussi in the 25th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Ludo Vanden Bossche successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 28th minute of the match La Gagoneta got a corner. The Everett Hawks's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marco Peio ran over to the corner to take the kick. La Gagoneta's Marco Peio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ludo Vanden Bossche in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cosme Paris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdi Mehmet Rakim, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After taking down the ball on The Everett Hawks's corner Feijo Fresnos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cosme Paris quite easily take care of the ball. Cosme Paris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdi Mehmet Rakim in the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philippe-Arnaud Heremans in the 39th minute of play forced La Gagoneta's goalkeeper Cosme Paris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosme Paris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdi Mehmet Rakim in the 41st minute of play.

Cosme Paris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdi Mehmet Rakim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Abdi Mehmet Rakim came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the The Everett Hawks fans jumped to their feet. Ludo Vanden Bossche made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After having played for 63 minutes, Patricio Asur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Gagoneta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Asur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. La Gagoneta's Lucas Urbez was substituted for Manfredo Zanussi. In the 70th minute Abdi Mehmet Rakim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Paris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La Gagoneta's Cosme Paris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdi Mehmet Rakim in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of The Everett Hawks booed when La Gagoneta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Asur didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Everett Hawks's Andy Van Aghten was substituted for Philip Goorts. Feijo Fresnos was slow to take the kick. During this time The Everett Hawks's players had a chance to rest. The Everett Hawks's Feijo Fresnos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cosme Paris in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Patricio Asur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cosme Paris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luke Van Bostraeten in the 89th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, La Gagoneta's goalkeeper Cosme Paris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fre van Eijnde. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fre van Eijnde got free with Cosme Paris in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cosme Paris was a little too slow when Abdi Mehmet Rakim got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 1-2.
