Henri-Patrick Widdepenninck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kang Fan Xiang in the 7th minute of the match. Antoni Beninda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamit Koryürek in the 9th minute of play. Vigil Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Antoni Beninda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kang Fan Xiang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Vila Zumbi's Maciej Marchlewicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henri-Patrick Widdepenninck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 27th minute of the match Vila Zumbi got a corner. Thierry Emry FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ferdi Kadıoğlu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thierry Emry FC's Henri-Patrick Widdepenninck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kang Fan Xiang in the 29th minute of play. If Maciej Marchlewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vila Zumbi's Maciej Marchlewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Maciej Marchlewicz came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Vila Zumbi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maciej Marchlewicz couldn't finish the play. Ferdi Kadıoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thierry Emry FC made a substitution. Mustafa Haydar Sağan replaced Hilmi Onursan. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maciej Marchlewicz made a kick off. Vila Zumbi's Matías Souza quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nadir Ulusu, made in the 51st minute of the game. After having played for 53 minutes, Ferdi Kadıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vila Zumbi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdi Kadıoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henri-Patrick Widdepenninck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maciej Marchlewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Hamit Koryürek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Beninda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Maciej Marchlewicz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Thierry Emry FC's Henri-Patrick Widdepenninck. Henri-Patrick Widdepenninck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vila Zumbi's Almir Salgado was substituted for Maciej Marchlewicz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamit Koryürek in the 72nd minute of play forced Vila Zumbi's goalkeeper Antoni Beninda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Thierry Emry FC's goal looked a bit too open when Almir Salgado came free, but Henri-Patrick Widdepenninck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henri-Patrick Widdepenninck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Almir Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kang Fan Xiang got free with Henri-Patrick Widdepenninck in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Hamit Koryürek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antoni Beninda was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. The Vila Zumbi fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Vila Zumbi's Kang Fan Xiang looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 89th minute, Vila Zumbi's Kang Fan Xiang dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. In the 94th minute, Almir Salgado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henri-Patrick Widdepenninck was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The Vila Zumbi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vila Zumbi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
