Elia Costacurta might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ysidro Colimán. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elia Costacurta ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 18th match minute, Mambo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Ferri to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute Joaquin Detmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armin Di Toma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinos Guemes in the 22nd minute of play forced Mambo FC's goalkeeper Armin Di Toma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armin Di Toma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Ortega in the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Restat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportes Vαldiviα's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mambo FC the free kick. Wilfredo Restat hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Ortega in the 33rd minute of play forced Mambo FC's goalkeeper Armin Di Toma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Joaquin Detmer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Armin Di Toma was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 38 minutes, Joaquin Detmer made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Mambo FC's Armin Di Toma tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eufrasio Najera in the 41st minute of play forced Mambo FC's goalkeeper Armin Di Toma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eufrasio Najera in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armin Di Toma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eufrasio Najera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eufrasio Najera to strike the kick off in the second half. Mambo FC's Armin Di Toma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eufrasio Najera in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mambo FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vinos Guemes was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportes Vαldiviα's players had a chance to rest. In the 65th minute of the match, Eufrasio Najera tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Armin Di Toma saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Deportes Vαldiviα's attack was well implemented in the 65th minute, but when Eufrasio Najera was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Thanks to some nice moves Rolando Ortega could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Armin Di Toma however easily saved by the left post. Armin Di Toma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eufrasio Najera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Mambo FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Deportes Vαldiviα's performance. The match ended with a win for Deportes Vαldiviα.
