In the 18th minute Robert Wnukowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roch Grondzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20thth minute of the game Robert Wnukowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Roch Grondzki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 25th minute Robert Wnukowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roch Grondzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Radomiak Radom booed when SMOCZANKA MIELEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernard Cytrynski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, SMOCZANKA MIELEC's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Wnukowski came free, but Roch Grondzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to SMOCZANKA MIELEC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Marcus Wassenius hit a great ball. After 44 played minutes, Radomiak Radom's Harry Maguire shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roch Grondzki came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Radomiak Radom reached it. In the 45th minute, Bernard Cytrynski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robert Wnukowski was the one to do the kick off. Oscar Giraldo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hieronim Mentis having to make a save. After a rather tough play, SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Bernard Cytrynski got a free kick in the 60th minute. The supporters of SMOCZANKA MIELEC booed when Radomiak Radom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Bodenschatz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Radomiak Radom's Hieronim Mentis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Pinto in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute of the match SMOCZANKA MIELEC got a corner. Radomiak Radom's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cezary Chrzan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dragoş Brădean kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Radomiak Radom's Napoleon Szel was substituted for Juraj Broz. Eurico Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roch Grondzki having to interfere. A hard shot by Harry Maguire from long distance, 94 minutes into the match, got Roch Grondzki's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.
