Carlos Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Lain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Penny lane F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Canales came free, but Jaroslaw Bako reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentin Lain might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Bastos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valentin Lain ran back to his position shaking his head. Carlos Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Lain in the 30th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Penny lane F.C's goalkeeper Jaroslaw Bako had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Canales. After some careless play in the Angola United defense, Valentin Lain kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Bastos. The Angola United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Bastos should have stopped the shot. Valentin Lain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Lima Clemente in the 45th minute of play forced Penny lane F.C's goalkeeper Jaroslaw Bako to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Gonçalves's late challenge caught a Penny lane F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolando Gonçalves helped the player get up and apologised. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rolando Lima Clemente to make the kick off. Samuel Jonsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Carlos Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Angola United's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Lain came free, but Carlos Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentin Lain blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Bastos having to make a save. Valentin Lain might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Bastos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valentin Lain ran back to his position shaking his head. Carlos Bastos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentin Lain in the 61st minute. Carlos Bastos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramtin Shahidi went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Angola United's Carlos Bastos got control of the ball when Valentin Lain tried to sneak it across the goal line. Penny lane F.C's Jaroslaw Bako played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Barreiros in the 75th minute of play. Carlos Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Lain, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Valentin Lain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valentin Lain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 85 minutes, Valentin Lain made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Angola United's Carlos Bastos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute, Ramtin Shahidi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Penny lane F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
