Roni Ronaldinho ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Roni Ronaldinho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar did a great save. Fermin Dolfo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Basri İhtiyar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tytus Orling, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Yalapa's Diego Armando Junior quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lucjan Falkiewicz, made in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yalapa's goalkeeper Basri İhtiyar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Edinson Haaland made a precise shot to the right of Basri İhtiyar. Yalapa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The supporters of Chinese CJ Youth Academy booed when Yalapa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Edwardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Chinese CJ Youth Academy were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fermin Dolfo to strike the kick off in the second half. Jose Nuno hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Yalapa's Leonardo Nogueira was substituted for Fermin Dolfo. Frank Frankfurter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Tome in the 66th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edinson Haaland in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basri İhtiyar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Yuan Ting Chao was substituted for Lu Zhan Jian. Diego Armando Junior hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Basri İhtiyar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Günther Doty, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Samuel Tome had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frank Frankfurter. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Tome was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. If Günther Doty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 92 minutes into the match, Günther Doty had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basri İhtiyar. Yalapa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Günther Doty was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Leonardo Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
