Victoriano Bernaldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edinson Haaland's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edinson Haaland got free with Victoriano Bernaldo in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edinson Haaland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Victoriano Bernaldo made a huge save. Frank Frankfurter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Darryl Buckner went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Chinese CJ Youth Academy made a substitution. Bai Feng Xiang replaced Tytus Orling. 23 minutes in the game Mariano Silbestre did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Darryl Buckner. Victoriano Bernaldo made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Edinson Haaland sent off a good shot on target. 28 minutes into the match, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goal looked a bit too open when Edinson Haaland came free, but Victoriano Bernaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edinson Haaland blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victoriano Bernaldo having to make a save. Victoriano Bernaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edinson Haaland, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After some careless play in the Dep Colonia Avellaneda defense, Edinson Haaland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victoriano Bernaldo. The Dep Colonia Avellaneda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victoriano Bernaldo should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Edinson Haaland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Edinson Haaland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victoriano Bernaldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Frank Frankfurter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darryl Buckner in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edinson Haaland was the one to do the kick off. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edinson Haaland in the 55th minute of play. Victoriano Bernaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edinson Haaland in the 56th minute of the match. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Frank Frankfurter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Chinese CJ Youth Academy from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Walter San Juan got a free kick in the 76th minute. Chinese CJ Youth Academy made a substitution. Günther Doty replaced Edinson Haaland. The supporters of Chinese CJ Youth Academy booed when Dep Colonia Avellaneda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter San Juan didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Günther Doty in the 79th minute of play forced Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalkeeper Victoriano Bernaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Günther Doty quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Su Jian Jie in the 89th minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalie and right to Yuan Ting Chao. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 94 minutes in the game Xu Yong Feng did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Long Xiang Yuan. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
