The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. GERLIROJO Ψ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nicolas Salomon in the 5th minute. After taking down the ball on GERLIROJO Ψ's corner Nicolas Salomon fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Isaac Ferreira quite easily take care of the ball. 7 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's Turgut Soyuer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andres Lastur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by GERLIROJO Ψ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Shi Xi Zhen was slow to take the kick. During this time PREZULO FC's players had a chance to rest. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Turgut Soyuer in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andres Lastur saved GERLIROJO Ψ from getting behind. Andres Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turgut Soyuer in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, GERLIROJO Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Turgut Soyuer came free, but Andres Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in GERLIROJO Ψ's zone, Turgut Soyuer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andres Lastur came out of the goal and Turgut Soyuer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albano Jaunzuria made in the 27th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by GERLIROJO Ψ's Iwan Rawa. Andres Lastur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Turgut Soyuer's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Andres Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Turgut Soyuer, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Isaac Ferreira came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by GERLIROJO Ψ's Martin Jax. But to his dismay, Martin Jax quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Jax made a kick off. Martin Jax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Jax in the 52nd minute of play forced PREZULO FC's goalkeeper Isaac Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andres Lastur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Turgut Soyuer in the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th match minute, GERLIROJO Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Salomon to maneuver through the defense. Turgut Soyuer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andres Lastur having to make a save. GERLIROJO Ψ were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after PREZULO FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eleuterio Benvido took the corner. The corner led to GERLIROJO Ψ's Iwan Rawa getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The throw-in from Anatolio Gasso in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by PREZULO FC's Saulão Chettle. Andres Lastur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Betão de Brito in the 78th minute. Isaac Ferreira came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by GERLIROJO Ψ's Epifanio Ibañez. But to his dismay, Epifanio Ibañez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Mari Balotelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Lastur having to interfere. GERLIROJO Ψ's Andres Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betão de Brito in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Mari Balotelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shi Xi Zhen hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Andres Lastur made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Mari Balotelli sent off a good shot on target. The referee's whistle sounded for the end of the second half. The match was tied at 2-2. None of the players looked happy at the prospect of extra-time.

All the players looked a little tired when it was time for the first half of the overtime. It was PREZULO FC's Mari Balotelli that got to make the kick off. Both teams seemed ready to fight when GERLIROJO Ψ's Epifanio Ibañez did the kick off and started the second half in the overtime. Andres Lastur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saulão Chettle in the 117th minute of the match. Adriano Vilanova fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 119th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Ferreira having to interfere. In the 129th minute Betão de Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, GERLIROJO Ψ's Andres Lastur got control of the ball when Betão de Brito tried to sneak it across the goal line. 132 minutes into the match, GERLIROJO Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Saulão Chettle came free, but Andres Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With neither of the teams able to find a winning goal, the match would be decided by penalties!

The excitement rose when PREZULO FC's Mari Balotelli after 134 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for GERLIROJO Ψ's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 2-3. When the match had been going on for 135 minutes, GERLIROJO Ψ's Epifanio Ibañez got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Isaac Ferreira. In the 138th minute of the game, GERLIROJO Ψ got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. GERLIROJO Ψ:s Isaac Ferreira showed great skill when he stopped Ana Cristina:s penalty. In the 141st minute there was a penalty for GERLIROJO Ψ. Eleuterio Benvido stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Isaac Ferreira. 5-3. PREZULO FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because GERLIROJO Ψ had won, even though PREZULO FC had held more of the ball.
