After some careless play in the Wataha Świętokrzyska defense, Cornel Gorgan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zachariasz Rakiewicz. The Wataha Świętokrzyska fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zachariasz Rakiewicz should have stopped the shot. Ciprian Tătăruşanu came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Wataha Świętokrzyska's Barnaba Zukowski. But to his dismay, Barnaba Zukowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cornel Gorgan in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zachariasz Rakiewicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute of the match Maramures-MM- got a corner. Wataha Świętokrzyska's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luca Dominte ran over to the corner to take the kick. Zachariasz Rakiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rik Sligter in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Mateusz Wojtowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciprian Tătăruşanu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Barnaba Zukowski. After having played for 23 minutes, Rik Sligter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maramures-MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Rik Sligter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rik Sligter couldn't finish the play. Zachariasz Rakiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornel Gorgan in the 29th minute of play. Sylwester Szarmach blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciprian Tătăruşanu having to make a save. The supporters of Maramures-MM- booed when Wataha Świętokrzyska was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernhard Loss didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Valentin Brad fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wataha Świętokrzyska's protests and gave Valentin Brad a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Wataha Świętokrzyska's Valentin Brad got a free kick in the 45th minute. Maramures-MM- made a substitution. Hans-Martin Torvund replaced Rik Sligter.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hans-Martin Torvund made a kick off. Zachariasz Rakiewicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fred Siggman's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. In the 72nd minute, Lucjan Tworek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute Mateusz Wojtowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariasz Rakiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Lucjan Tworek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wataha Świętokrzyska fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 86 minutes into the match, Wataha Świętokrzyska's goal looked a bit too open when Hans-Martin Torvund came free, but Zachariasz Rakiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zachariasz Rakiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maroš Rychtář, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Wataha Świętokrzyska's zone, Fred Siggman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zachariasz Rakiewicz came out of the goal and Fred Siggman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Deilmison Desailly during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Sylwester Szarmach came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Wataha Świętokrzyska fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sylwester Szarmach couldn't finish the play. Maramures-MM- were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Wataha Świętokrzyska to leave the ground with a draw.
