Rathmore Lime Tree's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grégory Castello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Augusto Saldanha took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sofyane Valognes. Sofyane Valognes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Rathmore Lime Tree's Sofyane Valognes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Rathmore Lime Tree from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Augusto Saldanha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sofyane Valognes was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Pedro Velloso got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 5-0. 46 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Rathmore Lime Tree made a substitution. Georges Labarthe replaced Paul-Henri Gayraud. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karim Cosme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 77th minute, one of Rathmore Lime Tree:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rathmore Lime Tree. Rathmore Lime Tree:s Sofyane Valognes showed great skill when he stopped Thiago Silvan:s penalty. In the 82ndth minute of the game Ke Feng Zhen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rathmore Lime Tree's Sofyane Valognes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86th minute Ke Feng Zhen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofyane Valognes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gracie Barra had played much better football throughout.
