An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Martins in the 11th minute of play forced Lobo Guará's goalkeeper Daniel Anaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dida Taffarel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ezequiel Pereira in the 14th minute. Daniel Anaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorian Moraes in the 16th minute of the match. When Alfredo Martins, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 17 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Daniel Anaya was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Lobo Guará's Daniel Anaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Cano in the 19th minute of play. Jon Grøneng made in the 21st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by German Cano. The supporters of Lobo Guará booed when Marquês de Herval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jon Grøneng didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Anaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selami Rezan in the 31st minute of play. The wind increased when Alfredo Martins made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Marquês de Herval's zone, Ezequiel Pereira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dida Taffarel came out of the goal and Ezequiel Pereira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Anaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorian Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfredo Martins kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Daniel Anaya. That made the score 3-1 in the 64 minute of play. Dida Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro de Moraes in the 68th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Ciro de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dida Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro de Moraes in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Dorian Moraes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Daniel Anaya was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marquês de Herval's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
