With an extended leg and a bit of luck Téo Leite prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Lobo Guará's Daniel Anaya got control of the ball when Leandro Heidemann tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alvi Verde's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Attila Kiss in the 32nd minute. Téo Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Cardoso in the 43rd minute of play. Daniel Anaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cuero Buseth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ezequiel Pereira scored 0-2 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Téo Leite, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Téo Leite was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lobo Guará's Aykut Adar was substituted for Nuno Cardoso. Alvi Verde's Téo Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro de Moraes in the 64th minute of play. Ciro de Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 70 minutes into the match, Lobo Guará's Ciro de Moraes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Téo Leite narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Téo Leite was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Berker Başhekim capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Berker Başhekim really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Téo Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro de Moraes in the 80th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Ciro de Moraes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Téo Leite was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Téo Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lobo Guará had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
