After some careless play in the Gracie Barra defense, Aristide Ciuvică kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Falcão Cunha. The Gracie Barra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Falcão Cunha should have stopped the shot. Aristide Ciuvică's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Falcão Cunha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind México Eterno MZC's goalkeeper Jailson Aparecido, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dieter Gamache might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Falcão Cunha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dieter Gamache ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aristide Ciuvică in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Falcão Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jailson Aparecido was a little too slow when Augusto Saldanha got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 30thth minute of the game Aristide Ciuvică who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gracie Barra's Falcão Cunha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristide Ciuvică in the 32nd minute of play forced Gracie Barra's goalkeeper Falcão Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Gracie Barra's Jailson Aparecido threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hugo de Queirós, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jailson Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Velloso in the 35th minute of play. Falcão Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristide Ciuvică in the 42nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Aristide Ciuvică's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Falcão Cunha was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Gracie Barra's Falcão Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richart Richardsson in the 83rd minute of play. Falcão Cunha was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Richart Richardsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Richart Richardsson really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. Jailson Aparecido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murphey Shipman, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute Gracie Barra were awarded a corner. Şamil Sağman went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Gracie Barra's Şamil Sağman to fire away a dangerous shot which Jailson Aparecido despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Jago Štriker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jailson Aparecido. México Eterno MZC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jago Štriker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Gracie Barra's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
