Nenko Reza came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Red John S.K's Ingvar Strand. But to his dismay, Ingvar Strand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Edmund Wawrukiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Caetano Arósio's late challenge caught a Villaverde Celeste Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caetano Arósio helped the player get up and apologised. 15 minutes into the game, one of Red John S.K:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Red John S.K:s Cássio Corinth showed great skill when he stopped Roy Makaay:s penalty. Nenko Reza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Strand in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of Villaverde Celeste Clube booed when Red John S.K was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakue Llave didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Red John S.K's goalkeeper Cássio Corinth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Villaverde Celeste Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guo Ao in the 25th minute. Rafael Toscano kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Ingvar Strand had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nenko Reza. Villaverde Celeste Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ingvar Strand was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a rather tough play, Villaverde Celeste Clube's Eduardo Angulo got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 38thth minute of the game Ingvar Strand who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villaverde Celeste Clube's Nenko Reza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roy Makaay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Cássio Corinth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrico Maestri made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Villaverde Celeste Clube's Edmund Wawrukiewicz. 45 minutes into the match, Red John S.K's goalkeeper Cássio Corinth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roy Makaay. Cássio Corinth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Makaay in the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roy Makaay to make the kick off. Eduardo Angulo charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduardo Angulo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd minute, Eduardo Angulo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the game, Villaverde Celeste Clube's Roy Makaay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cássio Corinth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Red John S.K's Sebastian Bach was substituted for Ingvar Strand. Villaverde Celeste Clube made a substitution. Pedro Augusto Vale replaced Guo Ao. Villaverde Celeste Clube's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Sebastian Bach scored to the left of an out of position Nenko Reza, making the score, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Bach in the 76th minute of play forced Villaverde Celeste Clube's goalkeeper Nenko Reza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Sebastian Bach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cássio Corinth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armandinho Xavier in the 86th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Andrey Kamishev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Sebastian Bach reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nenko Reza. The goal made the score 1-4. Red John S.K's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
