None of the them looked very eager to play. 毛飞宁 started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Beneficiente got a freekick which was hit by Sidney Carneiro. Cães Vadios's Matheus Galvão got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute 毛飞宁 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fan Jian Jun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Guilherme Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ian Paiva fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cães Vadios's protests and gave Ian Paiva a yellow card for diving instead. Ian Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Cães Vadios's Fan Jian Jun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Guilherme Cunha in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Beneficiente's goal looked a bit too open when 毛飞宁 came free, but Alexandre Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Beneficiente's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ian Paiva was slow to take the kick. During this time Cães Vadios's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Cães Vadios's corner Ian Paiva fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alexandre Couto quite easily take care of the ball. After 43 played minutes Cães Vadios got a freekick which was hit by André Secco. After some careless play in the Cães Vadios defense, Luís Guilherme Cunha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fan Jian Jun. The Cães Vadios fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fan Jian Jun should have stopped the shot. Sidney Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Guilherme Cunha made a kick off. In the 55th minute, 巩沙谦 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Guilherme Cunha in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fan Jian Jun saved Cães Vadios from getting behind. After 61 played minutes Cães Vadios got a freekick which was hit by João Vítor Freire. In the 65th match minute, Cães Vadios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Secco to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute of the match, Luís Guilherme Cunha got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fan Jian Jun was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Luís Guilherme Cunha kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fan Jian Jun. That made the score 0-2 in the 68 minute of play. When 巩沙谦 fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beneficiente's protests and gave 巩沙谦 a yellow card for diving instead. Sidney Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 91 minutes into the match, Cães Vadios's goal looked a bit too open when Mebarek El-Hadi came free, but Fan Jian Jun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Guilherme Cunha got free with Fan Jian Jun in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Beneficiente's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
