The audience was convinced that Luís Guilherme Cunha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Guilherme Marques was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Luciano Salles put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lara Peñaranda. Luís Guilherme Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Luciano Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of BRASIL.Sp booed when Beneficiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antônio Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute, Eusébio Barros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BRASIL.Sp fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Luciano Salles might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lara Peñaranda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luciano Salles ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luciano Salles made a kick off. When Luciano Salles came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the BRASIL.Sp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Salles couldn't finish the play. Lara Peñaranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute BRASIL.Sp were awarded a corner. Durval Campidelis went to the cornerflag to take it. Lara Peñaranda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Jardeløv went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Lara Peñaranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Jardeløv in the 64th minute of play. A collision led to BRASIL.Sp getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Reynaldo Rossi hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Antônio Souto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 minutes of play, BRASIL.Sp's Eusébio Barros made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lara Peñaranda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lara Peñaranda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guilherme Dantas's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. After 80 played minutes BRASIL.Sp got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Rossi. Lara Peñaranda didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when BRASIL.Sp's Almir Matos shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. 89 minutes into the match, BRASIL.Sp's goalkeeper Luís Guilherme Marques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Guilherme Cunha. Lara Peñaranda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guilherme Dantas went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The BRASIL.Sp fans cheered their team off the field, for while Beneficiente had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
