The supporters of Alfa FC booed when S.E. Cachoeirinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hílton Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Stian Selnes came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Alfa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stian Selnes couldn't finish the play. After 7 minutes of play, Alfa FC's Ferreirinha Vinhas made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ismael de Carvalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 9 minutes, Ole-Johan Larsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alfa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ole-Johan Larsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in S.E. Cachoeirinha's zone, Stian Selnes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael de Carvalho came out of the goal and Stian Selnes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the match, Alfa FC's Ole-Johan Larsen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ismael de Carvalho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Alfa FC booed when S.E. Cachoeirinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hílton Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stian Selness short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Ismael de Carvalho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to S.E. Cachoeirinha getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Rafinha Gonçalves hit a great ball. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Ismael de Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save S.E. Cachoeirinha from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute, Alfa FC's Lázaro Galtero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. After 37th play minutes Lázaro Galtero shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Ismael de Carvalho and just under the crossbar into goal. 6-0 became the score in the 41st minute when Stian Selnes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Stian Selnes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alfa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stian Selnes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael de Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute of the match Dalmo Peixoto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedrinho de Queirós showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reginaldo Teixeira made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Stian Selnes notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of S.E. Cachoeirinha's Ismael de Carvalho. Ismael de Carvalho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Rafinha Gonçalves came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the S.E. Cachoeirinha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafinha Gonçalves couldn't finish the play. Stian Selnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael de Carvalho having to interfere. Rafinha Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Stian Selnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ismael de Carvalho came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Alfa FC's Ferreirinha Vinhas. But to his dismay, Ferreirinha Vinhas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. 72 minutes into the match, S.E. Cachoeirinha's goal looked a bit too open when Stian Selnes came free, but Ismael de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfa FC's Lázaro Galtero was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ismael de Carvalho in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Ismael de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferreirinha Vinhas in the 76th minute of play. Alfa FC were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after S.E. Cachoeirinha's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ole-Johan Larsen took the corner. After taking down the ball on Alfa FC's corner Ole-Johan Larsen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ismael de Carvalho quite easily take care of the ball. In the 80th minute, Stian Selnes made a precise shot to the right of Ismael de Carvalho. S.E. Cachoeirinha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. In the 85th minute Reginaldo Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Alfa FC's goalkeeper Pedrinho de Queirós had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabinho Vinhas. Ismael de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stian Selnes in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferreirinha Vinhas in the 91st minute of play forced S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper Ismael de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Ole-Johan Larsen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ismael de Carvalho. S.E. Cachoeirinha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ole-Johan Larsen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. There was no doubt that Alfa FC were the better team. Alfa FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
