Ma Kuan Yun might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maicon Trevisan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ma Kuan Yun ran back to his position shaking his head. Maicon Trevisan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ma Kuan Yun in the 4th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Jereba 4EVER's zone, Ma Kuan Yun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maicon Trevisan came out of the goal and Ma Kuan Yun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 7 minutes into the game, Christian Peixoto threw the ball into play from the sideline. Jereba 4EVER's Enio Linares quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jereba 4EVER's Maicon Trevisan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Jereba 4EVER from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute of the match, Arnaldo Tróia got a very nice opportunity to score, but Maicon Trevisan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 16 played minutes Jereba 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Geovani Sanches. Maicon Trevisan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ma Kuan Yun went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Pedro Moreno in the 23rd minute of play forced Batalhão do Peçanha's goalkeeper Petr Čech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Batalhão do Peçanha's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Geovani Sanches was slow to take the kick. During this time Jereba 4EVER's players had a chance to rest. In the 31st minute, Ma Kuan Yun made a precise shot to the right of Maicon Trevisan. Jereba 4EVER's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Epaminondas Baba struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Maicon Trevisan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Batalhão do Peçanha. If Arnaldo Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Christian Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petr Čech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovani Sanches, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geovani Sanches stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Batalhão do Peçanha's Petr Čech got control of the ball when João Pedro Moreno tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ma Kuan Yun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maicon Trevisan having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ma Kuan Yun in the 53rd minute of play forced Jereba 4EVER's goalkeeper Maicon Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Batalhão do Peçanha booed when Jereba 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enio Terra didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Jereba 4EVER defense, Ma Kuan Yun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maicon Trevisan. The Jereba 4EVER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maicon Trevisan should have stopped the shot. Jereba 4EVER's Dito Quirino was substituted for Geovani Sanches. Maicon Trevisan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ma Kuan Yun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Jereba 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Ma Kuan Yun came free, but Maicon Trevisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petr Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Pedro Moreno in the 79th minute of the match. Petr Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Pedro Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jereba 4EVER's Dino Netto was substituted for Percy de Barros. When Vânderson Vasconcelos came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Batalhão do Peçanha fans jumped to their feet. Jereba 4EVER's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Batalhão do Peçanha the free kick. Dito Quirino kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
