The tension between the Laranja EC and the Carrapichel - FDFDF players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Zézinho Amaral put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Romário Dantas. When Carrapichel - FDFDF's Zézinho Amaral in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Laranja EC's Romário Dantas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Laranja EC from getting a goal against them. During the 85th minute of the match Armandinho Pernambucano completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Armandinho Pernambucano a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Carrapichel - FDFDF booed when Laranja EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armandinho Pernambucano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tony Dias, 88 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal.
