The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ma Kuan Yun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jerônimo da Cunha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Jerônimo da Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ma Kuan Yun in the 9th minute of the match. Jerônimo da Cunha came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Batalhão do Peçanha's Ma Kuan Yun. But to his dismay, Ma Kuan Yun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 18 minutes, Epaminondas Baba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batalhão do Peçanha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Epaminondas Baba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ma Kuan Yun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jerônimo da Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ma Kuan Yun in the 21st minute of the match. Batalhão do Peçanha's Vânderson Vasconcelos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Inácio Cosme in the 23 minute of the game. In the 29th minute Ma Kuan Yun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerônimo da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerônimo da Cunha came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Batalhão do Peçanha's Ma Kuan Yun. But to his dismay, Ma Kuan Yun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jerônimo da Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ma Kuan Yun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petr Čech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fri Spel in the 38th minute. After having played for 41 minutes, Atacan Rahim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elite™- FC Galácticos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atacan Rahim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 44 minutes of play, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Atacan Rahim made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Petr Čech was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Atacan Rahim was the one to do the kick off. If Ma Kuan Yun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jerônimo da Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ma Kuan Yun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the game, Inácio Cosme threw the ball into play from the sideline. Batalhão do Peçanha's Vânderson Vasconcelos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jerônimo da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ma Kuan Yun in the 57th minute of play. Jerônimo da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ma Kuan Yun, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Ma Kuan Yun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jerônimo da Cunha. Elite™- FC Galácticos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ma Kuan Yun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 64 minutes into the match, Batalhão do Peçanha's goal looked a bit too open when Atacan Rahim came free, but Petr Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Batalhão do Peçanha defense, Atacan Rahim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petr Čech. The Batalhão do Peçanha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petr Čech should have stopped the shot. Elite™- FC Galácticos's Jerônimo da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ma Kuan Yun in the 71st minute of play. Epaminondas Baba kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Elite™- FC Galácticos's Jerônimo da Cunha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Elite™- FC Galácticos from getting a goal against them. Petr Čech didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabian Zabrzeski went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Epaminondas Baba came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jerônimo da Cunha could save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Ma Kuan Yun put it in 3-4 from a short distance just to the right of Jerônimo da Cunha. Fabian Zabrzeski took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petr Čech. Petr Čech dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-4. 95 minutes in the game Inácio Cosme did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gino Monteiro. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by Batalhão do Peçanha's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maël Zapata was slow to take the kick. During this time Elite™- FC Galácticos's players had a chance to rest. Elite™- FC Galácticos's Maël Zapata was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Petr Čech in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
