Zé Roberto Meira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Willian Loyola skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 9 minutes into the game, Laranja EC's Zé Roberto Meira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Willian Loyola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Willian Loyola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zé Roberto Meira went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Cristian Duarte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romário Dantas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. If Cícero Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Clóvis Motta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th match minute, Morro Grande E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deivid Trevisan to maneuver through the defense. Willian Loyola stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cafu do Nascimento's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Willian Loyola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armandinho Pernambucano in the 35th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Laranja EC's Armandinho Pernambucano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Willian Loyola. That made the score 3-0 after 37 minutes of play. After 40 minutes, Raúl Maia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morro Grande E.C and the Laranja EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Morro Grande E.C getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Raúl Maia hit a great ball. Walmyr Valle's late challenge caught a Morro Grande E.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Walmyr Valle helped the player get up and apologised. Walmyr Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Diogo Pinho missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 45 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Romário Dantas right hand side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristian Duarte to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's goal looked a bit too open when Cícero Antunes came free, but Willian Loyola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's goal looked a bit too open when Cafu do Nascimento came free, but Willian Loyola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st match minute, Morro Grande E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clóvis Motta to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Diogo Pinho got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Willian Loyola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Roberto Meira in the 76th minute of play. Zé Roberto Meira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Willian Loyola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Cafu do Nascimento made a precise shot to the right of Willian Loyola. Morro Grande E.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 87th minute Cícero Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cafu do Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Willian Loyola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafu do Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Laranja EC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
