In the 15th minute, Jimmie Kilberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fidel Hernando was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 17 minutes into the match, Northern California's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmie Kilberg came free, but Fidel Hernando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Carmelo Oihan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Skröder in the 22nd minute of play forced Northern California's goalkeeper Fidel Hernando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fidel Hernando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Jönsson in the 24th minute of play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Angel Teofilio made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of BK Tåfjutt booed when Northern California was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Policarpio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jimmie Kilberg scored 1-3 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fidel Hernando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fidel Hernando was a little too slow when Jack Jönsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 1-4. Northern California's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Albert Skröder scored to the left of an out of position Fidel Hernando, making the score, 1-5. Northern California's Fidel Hernando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Northern California from getting a goal against them. Fidel Hernando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Jönsson in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Marcelino Olo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, Northern California's Marco Policarpio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Marco Policarpio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Northern California protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Marco Policarpio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Northern California getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Marco Policarpio hit a great ball. After 80 played minutes, BK Tåfjutt's Kristoffer Wennerlund shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fidel Hernando came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BK Tåfjutt reached it. Fidel Hernando was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Jimmie Kilberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jimmie Kilberg really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. In the 88th minute, Jack Jönsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BK Tåfjutt fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-8. After 92 minutes of play, BK Tåfjutt's Axel Kinnman made it 1-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fidel Hernando was left in no man's land by his defense there!
