The audience was convinced that Gigel Căliman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armandinho Mattos was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Iulian Cristache recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armandinho Mattos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Căliman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Wakanda fv FSCMZ's Armandinho Mattos got control of the ball when Iulian Cristache tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gelu Mineață could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Armandinho Mattos made a huge save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gigel Căliman to make the kick off. Armandinho Mattos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gigel Căliman went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 57th minute, Wakanda fv FSCMZ's Waldemar Camargo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Iulian Cristache ran back to his position shaking his head. Armandinho Mattos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iulian Cristache in the 83rd minute of the match. Gigel Căliman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armandinho Mattos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berea Ion in the 92nd minute of play. Gigel Căliman might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armandinho Mattos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gigel Căliman ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 95th minute Iulian Cristache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armandinho Mattos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gigel Căliman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Armandinho Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Club 23 had played much better football throughout.
