In the 20th match minute, Icoara Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdo Lima to maneuver through the defense. Caetano Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Santo in the 21st minute of the match. Wakanda fv FSCMZ's Armandinho Mattos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luizão Paraíba in the 21st minute of play. In the 52nd minute Waldemar Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodriguinho Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano Monteiro having to interfere. 84 minutes in the game, Fabrício Rosa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Armandinho Mattos having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Wakanda fv FSCMZ's goalkeeper Armandinho Mattos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luizão Paraíba. In the 96th minute, Icoara Football Club's Valdo Lima seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Valdo Lima the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Icoara Football Club protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Valdo Lima had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 96th minute, one of Icoara Football Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Icoara Football Club. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Wakanda fv FSCMZ fully deserved thier win.
