An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Lastur in the 14th minute of play forced Quebra Ossos FC's goalkeeper Ronaldão dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Delmiro Fanuco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ronaldão dos Santos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Narciso Montel made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Betão Marinho sent off a good shot on target. Carlos Augusto Galvão came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Narciso Montel could save by the left post. In the 25th minute, Carlos Augusto Galvão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, C.A.P.J.'s Joel Munio got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 27 minutes, Florencio Serafo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.P.J. and the Quebra Ossos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th match minute, C.A.P.J. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Serafo to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Delmiro Fanuco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, C.A.P.J.'s Narciso Montel got control of the ball when Eliézer Sarmento tried to sneak it across the goal line. Narciso Montel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betão Marinho in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Quebra Ossos FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Lino Lluis scored to the left of an out of position Ronaldão dos Santos, making the score, 0-3. Desiderio Lastur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldão dos Santos having to interfere. If Desiderio Lastur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betão Marinho in the 60th minute of play forced C.A.P.J.'s goalkeeper Narciso Montel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Desiderio Lasturs short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Ronaldão dos Santos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 65th of the match, Lino Lluis tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Ronaldão dos Santos got in the way and made a wonderful save. Narciso Montel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betão Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delmiro Fanuco during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Quebra Ossos FC booed when C.A.P.J. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmiro Fanuco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st match minute, C.A.P.J. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Serafo to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute Betão Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Montel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.A.P.J.'s Lino Lluis got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ronaldão dos Santos made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Desiderio Lastur sent off a good shot on target. When Desiderio Lastur came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the C.A.P.J. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desiderio Lastur couldn't finish the play. Aírton Queirós got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Quebra Ossos FC's Aírton Queirós got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute, Luís Gustavo de Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Fanuco in the 84th minute of play forced Quebra Ossos FC's goalkeeper Ronaldão dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
