Victor Stamate kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. When Gigel Căliman came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Club 23 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gigel Căliman couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the game, Betão Marinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Codrin Encica was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 17th match minute, Club 23 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gelu Mineață to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Gigel Căliman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Codrin Encica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betão Marinho in the 31st minute of play. If Betão Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Quebra Ossos FC's goalkeeper Ronaldão dos Santos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Berea Ion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliézer Sarmento during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Quebra Ossos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliézer Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 38 minutes, Cazimir Floroiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club 23's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cazimir Floroiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ronaldão dos Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gigel Căliman's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Berea Ion's late challenge caught a Quebra Ossos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Berea Ion helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Club 23 getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Berea Ion hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Cazimir Floroiu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronaldão dos Santos. Quebra Ossos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cazimir Floroiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Gigel Căliman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Quebra Ossos FC's Ronaldão dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cazimir Floroiu in the 65th minute of play. Ronaldão dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Căliman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute Gigel Căliman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldão dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Gigel Căliman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ronaldão dos Santos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ferdinand Zegreanu charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferdinand Zegreanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A hard shot by Téo Fonseca from long distance, 91 minutes into the match, got Codrin Encica's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club 23 had won after a very even match.
