Club 23's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Copiad the free kick. Lucrețiu Roşculeţ hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingvar Dalkvist got free with Codrin Encica in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 24 played minutes FC Copiad got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Stål. Sebastian Trăilă's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wictor Ambjörnsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, Club 23 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucrețiu Roşculeţ to maneuver through the defense. Wictor Ambjörnsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Trăilă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Trăilă in the 39th minute of play forced FC Copiad's goalkeeper Wictor Ambjörnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Gigel Căliman made a precise shot to the right of Wictor Ambjörnsson. FC Copiad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1.
