Ignacio Quinteros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvard Fagerberg having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Nicasio Gotzon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jerome Ngake was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stig-Arne Kullgren made in the 16th minute of the game a quick throw-in and João Augusto Fantini immediately put the ball in play. Commander Crowe's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Ignacio Quinteros scored to the left of an out of position Edvard Fagerberg, making the score, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Commander Crowe's zone, Ignacio Quinteros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvard Fagerberg came out of the goal and Ignacio Quinteros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stig-Arne Kullgren hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute Narciso Noe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerome Ngake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerome Ngake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Augusto Fantini in the 30th minute of play. Commander Crowe's Edvard Fagerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Quinteros in the 32nd minute of play. Ignacio Quinteros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edvard Fagerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Quinteros in the 38th minute of the match. Edvard Fagerberg was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Ignacio Quinteros capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ignacio Quinteros really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ignacio Quinteros to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 66th match minute, Commander Crowe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmie Käcker to maneuver through the defense. Jerome Ngake showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Gotzon, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. If Gregoire Decorte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gregoire Decorte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvard Fagerberg having to interfere. In the 87th minute FC Draconia were awarded a corner. Walter Bernaerts went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 88th match minute, FC Draconia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amaury Van den Berge to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC Draconia getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Gorbea Castejana hit a great ball. The supporters of Commander Crowe booed when FC Draconia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrià Vassaras didn't get a good kick on the ball. Commander Crowe's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
