In the 48th minute Jeremias Stewarts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinu Oardă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

In the 87th match minute, Argen-Taino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manolo Portillo to maneuver through the defense. When Agustín Zapata came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Argen-Taino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustín Zapata couldn't finish the play.
