The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Alexandre Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Pereira in the 2nd minute of play. The corner led Lobo Guará's Nando Barbosa to fire away a dangerous shot which Alexandre Brasil despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 7th minute, Bogdan Gomolka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Lobo Guará's Daniel Anaya got control of the ball when Horacio Sayveon tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lobo Guará's Nando Barbosa got a free kick in the 13th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Daniel Anaya successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Serginho Amorim made a great header on E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's corner, it was just that Lobo Guará's Daniel Anaya managed to reach the ball for a save. Daniel Anaya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horacio Sayveon's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Horacio Sayveon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the match, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Domingues came free, but Alexandre Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Cardoso in the 37th minute of play forced E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goalkeeper Alexandre Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Anaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Sayveon in the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE booed when Lobo Guará was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berker Başhekim didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Cardoso came free, but Alexandre Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lobo Guará's Sancar Gazel got a free kick in the 44th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nuno Cardoso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Ruy Melo hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute, Kokki Mon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bogdan Gomolka hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Daniel Anaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Vieira in the 66th minute of play. Nuno Cardoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Alexandre Brasil made a huge save. Nuno Cardoso did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Alexandre Brasil 73 minutes into the match. Daniel Anaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Sayveon in the 77th minute of the match. Daniel Anaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Sayveon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Lobo Guará's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Vieira came free, but Daniel Anaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vítor Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Daniel Anaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
