The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cássio Corinth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luís Zanette, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When Robert Serwacki came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Serwacki couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Red John S.K's goalkeeper Cássio Corinth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Strand came free, but Guilherme Zanette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Red John S.K made a substitution. Sebastian Bach replaced Ingvar Strand. After 60 minutes ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. For all the effort they put into the match, the ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
