Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ingvar Strand kicked off to start the match. Villaverde Celeste Clube's attentive William Lucas managed to snatch the ball when Jakue Llave made a throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game. Villaverde Celeste Clube's Roy Makaay got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nenko Reza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingvar Strand's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Red John S.K's goalkeeper Cássio Corinth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Villaverde Celeste Clube booed when Red John S.K was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakue Llave didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Villaverde Celeste Clube's goalkeeper Nenko Reza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ingvar Strand. 17 minutes into the game, Ingvar Strand recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nenko Reza. Ingvar Strand showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Roy Makaay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cássio Corinth. Red John S.K's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roy Makaay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 28 minutes into the match, Red John S.K's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Makaay came free, but Cássio Corinth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roy Makaay took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cássio Corinth. Cássio Corinth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 33 minutes in the game Enrico Maestri did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ingvar Strand. Cássio Corinth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guo Ao, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 36 minutes Red John S.K's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guo Ao who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Villaverde Celeste Clube's Guo Ao to fire away a dangerous shot which Cássio Corinth despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Red John S.K's goal looked a bit too open when Armandinho Xavier came free, but Cássio Corinth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Toscano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Red John S.K's Henrique Ramalho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dino Manfredi, made in the 45th minute of the game. After the first half Villaverde Celeste Clube were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roy Makaay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Roy Makaay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Corinth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Roy Makaay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villaverde Celeste Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 61 minutes into the match, Red John S.K's Ingvar Strand sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nenko Reza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edmund Wawrukiewicz came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cássio Corinth could save by the left post. Ingvar Strand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Red John S.K's Sebastian Bach was substituted for Ingvar Strand. Nenko Reza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isa Günyol in the 68th minute of the match. Roy Makaay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cássio Corinth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Sebastian Bach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red John S.K's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Bach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Villaverde Celeste Clube's Kıraç Uskan was substituted for Guo Ao. Andrey Kamishev was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 83 minutes into the match. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Red John S.K! In the 86th minute, the referee gave Villaverde Celeste Clube a penalty. Kıraç Uskan looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Cássio Corinth. 92 minutes into the game, Roy Makaay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villaverde Celeste Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red John S.K the free kick. The Villaverde Celeste Clube supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Villaverde Celeste Clube would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
