In the 18th minute, German Cano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marquês de Herval fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfredo Martins kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gianluigi Buffon. That made the score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. When Alfredo Martins came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Marquês de Herval fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Martins couldn't finish the play. Nico Alcântara charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nico Alcântara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Marquês de Herval booed when Apocalipse FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nico Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gianluigi Buffon was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Alfredo Martins capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alfredo Martins really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Apocalipse FC's goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Marquês de Herval's Alfredo Martins in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Apocalipse FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Martins in the 38th minute of play forced Apocalipse FC's goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moussa Kabre charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moussa Kabre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Marquês de Herval getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Moussa Kabre hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredo Martins to strike the kick off in the second half. German Cano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gianluigi Buffon having to interfere. Gianluigi Buffon came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Marquês de Herval's Alfredo Martins. But to his dismay, Alfredo Martins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After 58 minutes, Alfredo Martins made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Apocalipse FC's Gianluigi Buffon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 60 played minutes Apocalipse FC got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Sampaio. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dorian Moraes in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gianluigi Buffon saved Apocalipse FC from getting behind. Apocalipse FC's Gianluigi Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Martins in the 65th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Martins in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gianluigi Buffon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gianluigi Buffon came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Marquês de Herval's Dorian Moraes. But to his dismay, Dorian Moraes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. 73 minutes into the game, Dorian Moraes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Gianluigi Buffon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 76th minute, Alfredo Martins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gianluigi Buffon was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. Alfredo Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 78th minute Alfredo Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nico Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gianluigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Cano in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Martins in the 89th minute of play forced Apocalipse FC's goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Martins in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gianluigi Buffon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Apocalipse FC defense, Alfredo Martins kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gianluigi Buffon. The Apocalipse FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gianluigi Buffon should have stopped the shot. Apocalipse FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
