In the 43rd minute, Edmund Wawrukiewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexandre Brasil was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 46th minute, Roy Makaay made a precise shot to the right of Alexandre Brasil. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Ruy Melo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tang Qian Xiong, made in the 52nd minute of the game. 59 minutes into the game, Luizão do Nascimento threw the ball into play from the sideline. Villaverde Celeste Clube's William Lucas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 60 minutes into the match, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Makaay came free, but Alexandre Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horacio Sayveon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nenko Reza having to interfere. Alexandre Brasil came out of the goal and Kıraç Uskan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Augusto Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Alexandre Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's attentive Ruy Melo managed to snatch the ball when Tang Qian Xiong made a throw-in in the 84th minute of the game. After having played for 92 minutes, Ruy Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruy Melo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Pedro Augusto Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Villaverde Celeste Clube supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Villaverde Celeste Clube would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
