The audience thought a goal was coming when Belmiro Mello got free with João Carlos Andrade in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Retumbante FC's Wilmer Gallo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Hernández in the 10th minute of play. Futuros FC's João Carlos Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Décio Antonio in the 11th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Retumbante FC's goal looked a bit too open when Krakaca Neto came free, but Wilmer Gallo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Retumbante FC's Fabinho Bittencourt came free and shot a quick shot against goal 32 minutes in the game, fortunately João Carlos Andrade had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Krakaca Neto struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Wilmer Gallo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Futuros FC. João Carlos Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Décio Antonio in the 37th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Sílvio Luiz Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Carlos Andrade made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Belmiro Mello sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes into the match, Retumbante FC's goal looked a bit too open when Krakaca Neto came free, but Wilmer Gallo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Frank Gonçalves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. João Carlos Andrade was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Krakaca Neto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Beto de Medeiros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Futuros FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Retumbante FC the free kick. Beto de Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. If Belmiro Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Futuros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Décio Antonio came free, but João Carlos Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Retumbante FC's goal looked a bit too open when Beto Smith came free, but Wilmer Gallo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Retumbante FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Fernandes came free, but Wilmer Gallo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Carlos Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Gonçalves in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Futuros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Décio Antonio came free, but João Carlos Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Retumbante FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
