The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Fernandes got free with Juvenal Talló in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcos Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Futuros FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Beto Smith hit a great ball. Juvenal Talló made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krakaca Neto in the 28th minute of play. After 29 minutes Bene Animatus's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lucas Hernández who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Futuros FC's Lucas Hernández to fire away a dangerous shot which Juvenal Talló despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. João Carlos Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luís Prata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krakaca Neto in the 39th minute of play forced Bene Animatus's goalkeeper Juvenal Talló to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
