Bene Animatus were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Š¢σяpiσиŠ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gao Jian Jie took the corner. Bene Animatus's Gao Jian Jie was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emílio Cordeiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 23rd minute, Bene Animatus's Jardel Velloso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emílio Cordeiro. Emílio Cordeiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Sílvio Luís Prata's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emílio Cordeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Š¢σяpiσиŠ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gao Jian Jie was slow to take the kick. During this time Bene Animatus's players had a chance to rest. A very nice done corner allowed Leandro Fonseca to score against Emílio Cordeiro in Š¢σяpiσиŠ's goal. 2-0 after 29 minutes. In the 35th minute Erasmo Yeste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Talló saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juvenal Talló took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Meriç Nurkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 minutes Bene Animatus's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Amedeo Faccio who took care of the corner kick. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jardel Velloso to strike the kick off in the second half. If Meriç Nurkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. Bene Animatus's Juvenal Talló tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Š¢σяpiσиŠ's Emílio Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luís Prata in the 74th minute of play. Emílio Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Fonseca in the 77th minute of play. Bene Animatus's Juvenal Talló proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Bene Animatus from getting a goal against them. 82 minutes into the match, Bene Animatus's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Yeste came free, but Juvenal Talló reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jardel Velloso in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emílio Cordeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Simon Hooker took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emílio Cordeiro. Emílio Cordeiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Juvenal Talló stood somewhat misplaced when Gilberto Cardozo came free in front of goal and shot 6-2 to the left of him in the 94 minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bene Animatus fans cheered their team off the field, for while Š¢σяpiσиŠ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
