In the 6th minute, Jari Fallesen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivan Leitão received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Đorđije Élisabeth came out and tried to block the shot, but Ivan Leitão slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. Antero Linhares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosius Spangsbo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. U21 Denmark's Đorđije Élisabeth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damião Passos in the 14th minute of play. U21 Denmark's Đorđije Élisabeth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Denmark from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, U21 Denmark's Janich Millinder got a free kick in the 35th minute. Đorđije Élisabeth was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Emanuel Mourinho.
