In the 30th match minute, Brasibetanõ Pænthers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Valler to maneuver through the defense. Ken Sodja might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thibaut Courtois. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The GUSESI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Nemesio Lobo hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Brasibetanõ Pænthers's Adrian Valler got a free kick in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Thibaut Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ken Sodja in the 80th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Henry Lund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The GUSESI supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing GUSESI would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
