The supporters of San Lorenzo booed when Azulgrana 81 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Bizi didn't get a good kick on the ball. A nice corner shot did that Gigi Penaru got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cirilo Peyo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The throw-in from Fabricio Cordarell in the 22nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by San Lorenzo's Kara Melo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mo Yi Sang in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cirilo Peyo saved Azulgrana 81 from getting behind. Mo Yi Sang might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cirilo Peyo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mo Yi Sang ran back to his position shaking his head. 37 minutes into the match, Azulgrana 81's goal looked a bit too open when Mo Yi Sang came free, but Cirilo Peyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Azulgrana 81's Cirilo Peyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mo Yi Sang in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute, one of Azulgrana 81:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Azulgrana 81. Mo Yi Sang placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Azulgrana 81's Ciriaco Txeru was substituted for Guillermo Bizi. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mo Yi Sang to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kara Melo during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Mo Yi Sang sped through Azulgrana 81's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cirilo Peyo. Ciriaco Txeru charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciriaco Txeru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Azulgrana 81's Ciriaco Txeru got a free kick in the 76th minute. The long shot by Doni Arce in the 77th minute really tested Cirilo Peyo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 78 minutes into the game, Mo Yi Sang lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Cirilo Peyo. Kara Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match.
