Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ludomil Rukszcz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Genaro Elivareo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mauro Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Tristan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Genaro Elivareo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro Barreto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Vânderson Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Mauro Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abuba Akotonon FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Vânderson Guimarães scored to the left of an out of position Hugo Orlando Gatti, making the score, 1-1. 25 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo França came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Vânderson Guimarães sent off a good shot on target. Eduardo Emmanuel was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 29 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Eduardo Emmanuel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Clube Atlético Palhocense's zone, Vânderson Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Barreto came out of the goal and Vânderson Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vânderson Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Vânderson Guimarães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Hugo Orlando Gatti made a huge save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vânderson Barbosa to make the kick off. Rene Sanson struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Mauro Barreto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abuba Akotonon FC. 53 minutes into the match, Genaro Elivareo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mauro Barreto, 1-2. Genaro Elivareo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clube Atlético Palhocense's Mauro Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vânderson Barbosa in the 61st minute of play. Abuba Akotonon FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Genaro Elivareo in the 62nd minute. Abuba Akotonon FC's Genaro Elivareo got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clube Atlético Palhocense's Duda de Mendonça was substituted for Ronaldo França. Duda de Mendonça hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Palhocense's goalkeeper Mauro Barreto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vânderson Barbosa. In the 87th minute, Vânderson Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vânderson Guimarães in the 89th minute of play. Mauro Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vânderson Barbosa in the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Duda de Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fernando França in the 94th minute of play forced Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genaro Elivareo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Barreto having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Abuba Akotonon FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
