Everyone was convinced a goal was close when EL FIRULETE's Delmar Lapurdi in the 36th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Peng Xu was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Kiev FC through an amazing save. Jeronimo Frutos hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when 吴雄剑 got free with Peng Xu in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peng Xu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Lapurdi in the 44th minute of play. Kiev FC's Peng Xu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Kiev FC from getting a goal against them. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Jimeno Berdoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Peng Xu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kiev FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
