The tension between the CZRFERLIN and the GKS Katowice players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mané Garrinchinha kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Claudinho Sergipano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 7th match minute, GKS Katowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maciej Puszynski to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute Francisco Ibañez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Roma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GKS Katowice's Amadeo Roma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mané Garrinchinha in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, CZRFERLIN's Francisco Ibañez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amadeo Roma narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedrinho Xavier in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeo Roma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 14 minutes, Cezary Kasiewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GKS Katowice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cezary Kasiewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yader Postigo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Ludomir Zacharek managed to get in a good position for a shot. GKS Katowice's supporters rose to their feet, but Ludomir Zacharek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudinho Sergipano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the match, GKS Katowice's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Fito came free, but Amadeo Roma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Fito in the 26th minute of play forced GKS Katowice's goalkeeper Amadeo Roma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Mané Garrinchinha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amadeo Roma was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Tomé Sanches hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedrinho Xavier in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeo Roma saved GKS Katowice from getting behind. 44 minutes into the match, CZRFERLIN's Francisco Ibañez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amadeo Roma narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th minute of the match CZRFERLIN got a corner. GKS Katowice's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomé Sanches ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Olgierd Smolarek almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GKS Katowice's Amadeo Roma did a great save.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mané Garrinchinha made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, GKS Katowice's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Xavier came free, but Amadeo Roma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedrinho Xavier had several of the GKS Katowice's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 52 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Amadeo Roma as he didn't even see the shot coming. 55 minutes into the match, GKS Katowice's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Xavier came free, but Amadeo Roma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudinho Sergipano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludomir Zacharek in the 58th minute of play. Francisco Ibañez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amadeo Roma having to make a save. Amadeo Roma made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliciano Fito in the 61st minute. Amadeo Roma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Xavier in the 68th minute of play. Ludomir Zacharek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudinho Sergipano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. GKS Katowice's Amadeo Roma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Ibañez in the 71st minute of play. In the 76th minute GKS Katowice were awarded a corner. Dominik Brysz went to the cornerflag to take it. GKS Katowice's Dominik Brysz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Claudinho Sergipano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Amadeo Roma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomé Sanches in the 77th minute of play. GKS Katowice's Amadeo Roma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save GKS Katowice from getting a goal against them. The supporters of CZRFERLIN booed when GKS Katowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herminio Umea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudinho Sergipano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezary Kasiewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Dominik Brysz's late challenge caught a CZRFERLIN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dominik Brysz helped the player get up and apologised. Dominik Brysz hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Amadeo Roma made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Mané Garrinchinha sent off a good shot on target. Amadeo Roma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomé Sanches in the 94th minute of play. Amadeo Roma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrinho Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The CZRFERLIN supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CZRFERLIN would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
