The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Silvestre Evangelista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Weinands saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th match minute, Oegstgeest was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Govert Koopmans to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Silvestre Evangelista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvestre Evangelista succeeded in the game's 18th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. In the 23rdth minute of the game Govert Koopmans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Güngören Gücü F. K's Okanay Kutlug was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jan Weinands showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Evangelista, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Oegstgeest's zone, Silvestre Evangelista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Weinands came out of the goal and Silvestre Evangelista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute, Silvestre Evangelista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Weinands was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Robin Lokins short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Okanay Kutlug to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jan Weinands made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Evangelista in the 43rd minute of play. Robin Lokin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Okanay Kutlug made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

54 minutes into the match, Oegstgeest's goalkeeper Jan Weinands had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvestre Evangelista. The crowd rose to their feet as Silvestre Evangelista kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jan Weinands. That made the score 0-4 in the 56 minute of play. Andre Barugh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Okanay Kutlug took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hette Ploeger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvestre Evangelista got free with Jan Weinands in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 68 in the game by Silvestre Evangelista from a close distance when the talented Jan Weinands managed to make a qualified save. Oegstgeest's players were relieved. If Silvestre Evangelista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Güngören Gücü F. K's goal looked a bit too open when Hette Ploeger came free, but Okanay Kutlug reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Oegstgeest getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Robin Lokin hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Silvestre Evangelista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan Weinands. Oegstgeest's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvestre Evangelista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. After some careless play in the Oegstgeest defense, Silvestre Evangelista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Weinands. The Oegstgeest fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Weinands should have stopped the shot. Silvestre Evangelista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Weinands having to interfere. Güngören Gücü F. K's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
