After having played for 46 minutes, Robin Lokin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oegstgeest's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robin Lokin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Robin Lokin made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Hette Ploeger lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Stoimen Dzhunev. If Govert Koopmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 played minutes Oegstgeest got a freekick which was hit by Ton Bogarde. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Dragolyub Haralambov put it in 3-4 from a short distance just to the right of Jan Weinands. In the 93rd minute, Robin Lokin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Oegstgeest walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
