Indar Campello kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Palmitas CF's Fulgencio Bernebe dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 10th minute, Tebaldo Navas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roland CD's Hector Camarasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Grabiel in the 16th minute of play. Hector Camarasa made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Fulgencio Bernebe sent off a good shot on target. With splendid footwork Abelardo Grabiel arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-1 by the left pole in the game's 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Roland CD's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Grabiel came free, but Hector Camarasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 minutes, Indar Campello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roland CD and the Palmitas CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Palmitas CF booed when Roland CD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Indar Campello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hector Camarasa was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Fulgencio Bernebe capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fulgencio Bernebe really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. After 30 minutes, Damario Cacheres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roland CD and the Palmitas CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Roland CD's Damario Cacheres got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 31st match minute, Roland CD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sofronio Madariaga to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Fulgencio Bernebe put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Hector Camarasa. In the 45th play minute Fulgencio Bernebe came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hector Camarasa. 5-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tebaldo Navas made a kick off. In the 51st minute Leonel Mattin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Camarasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 minutes, Abelardo Grabiel made it 6-1 with a short kick to the right side. Roland CD's Hector Camarasa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Abelardo Grabiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hector Camarasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Bernebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Hector Camarasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Bernebe in the 71st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Fulgencio Bernebe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hector Camarasa was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Palmitas CF's Rigoberto Ordono proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Palmitas CF from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute, Fulgencio Bernebe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hector Camarasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Sofronio Madariaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Roland CD getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Indar Campello hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Abelardo Grabiel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hector Camarasa. Roland CD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abelardo Grabiel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. In the 97th minute Fulgencio Bernebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Camarasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Palmitas CF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
