An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Efe Eğilmez in the 5th minute of play forced Oegstgeest's goalkeeper Jan Weinands to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doğuhan Evliya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ton Bogarde went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Ahmet Efe Eğilmez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Efe Eğilmez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jan Weinands tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Köycegiz SK's Arda Baybars Nurkan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jan Weinands in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 38thth minute of the game Hette Ploeger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Köycegiz SK's Doğuhan Evliya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Köycegiz SK's Hayyam Serdengeçti got a free kick in the 39th minute. Doğuhan Evliya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hette Ploeger's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Köycegiz SK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bob Paauwe was slow to take the kick. During this time Oegstgeest's players had a chance to rest. Yenal Taze kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

55 minutes into the match, Köycegiz SK's goal looked a bit too open when Hette Ploeger came free, but Doğuhan Evliya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Ahmet Efe Eğilmez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan Weinands. Oegstgeest's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet Efe Eğilmez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Jan Weinands was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Ahmet Efe Eğilmez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ahmet Efe Eğilmez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. After some careless play in the Oegstgeest defense, Ahmet Efe Eğilmez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Weinands. The Oegstgeest fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Weinands should have stopped the shot. Oegstgeest's Jan Weinands played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Efe Eğilmez in the 77th minute of play. Jan Weinands was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ahmet Efe Eğilmez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 80 minute of play. When Bülent Şemsi came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Köycegiz SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bülent Şemsi couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute, Köycegiz SK's Ahmet Efe Eğilmez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jan Weinands. Jan Weinands yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. Jan Weinands showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Efe Eğilmez, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After 94 minutes of play, Köycegiz SK's Ahmet Efe Eğilmez made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan Weinands was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Oegstgeest fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Köycegiz SK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
