Cristiano Capixaba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Grabiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes into the match, Madugas Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Grabiel came free, but Cristiano Capixaba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Palmitas CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wesley Albuquerque was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Palmitas CF's Abelardo Grabiel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristiano Capixaba. That made the score 4-2 after 90 minutes of play. Madugas Fc's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
