The audience thought a goal was coming when Hilario Sirvent got free with Ali Kaan Mutlusoy in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 11 minutes into the game, Xalvador Marcilla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Slifer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kadirli FC the free kick. After 11 played minutes Slifer got a freekick which was hit by Xalvador Marcilla. In the 14th minute Berk Adışanlı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julen Puig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julen Puig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giray Yalçın, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Engin Durkaya kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Ali Kaan Mutlusoy was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Fabio Fuentes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fabio Fuentes really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Engin Durkaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Julen Puig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julen Puig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giray Yalçın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Slifer's goalkeeper Julen Puig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Kadirli FC booed when Slifer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aimar Campoamor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julen Puig stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giray Yalçın's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Slifer's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Giray Yalçın 54 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. A collision led to Slifer getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Fabio Fuentes hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Giray Yalçın's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julen Puig was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 58th minute, Rubio Cabrera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute, Kadirli FC's Aykan Geylanlar seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Aykan Geylanlar the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kadirli FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Aykan Geylanlar had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Fabio Fuentes might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ali Kaan Mutlusoy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabio Fuentes ran back to his position shaking his head. Giray Yalçın did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Julen Puig 65 minutes into the match. Atacan Rafiz kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Ali Ömer İrem dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julen Puig, 2-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Kadirli FC's Giray Yalçın slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julen Puig. That made the score 2-4 after 73 minutes of play. Ali Kaan Mutlusoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Fuentes in the 77th minute of play. When Ali Ömer İrem fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kadirli FC's protests and gave Ali Ömer İrem a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Kadirli FC's Ali Ömer İrem got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute, Virgilio Solo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ali Ömer İrem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julen Puig having to interfere. Kadirli FC played a much better game than Slifer and deserved their victory. The Slifer players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
